Ready Part is a smoothing process that improves the surface finish of standard parts offering a near injection molded quality. Save the time and cost associated with traditional manual finishing techniques like sanding. With Ready Part, we deliver your parts ready for painting, plating or other finishing techniques.

Ready Part is available when you choose ABS or ABS-M30 production-grade thermoplastics. Both materials are used across many industries and are ideal for conceptual prototyping to direct digital manufacturing.

Ready Part parts are not intended for heated applications. Maximum temperatures of around 100º F (40º C) may be attainable but is geometry dependant.

Choose from a variety of colors and finishes:

• ABS: White, Yellow, Gray: Matte & Gloss

• ABS: Black, Blue, Red, Green, Steel Gray: Gloss only

• ABS-M30: White, Ivory: Matte & Gloss

• ABS-M30: Black, Dark Gray, Blue: Gloss only

Because your parts are produced on FDM systems which have an achievable accuracy of +/- .005 inches (+/- .127 mm), researchers from the University of Texas-El Paso concluded that the Ready Part smoothing process did not have a significant effect on part accuracy.
